Blacktip Reef Shark

CARCHARHINUS MELANOPTERU

Found throughout the Indo-Pacific, this shark is a predator in shallow reef waters. As it has weak gill muscles, it has to keep moving in order to breathe. It is not very aggressive and doesn’t like to be approached.
