Red Scorpionfish
SCORPAENA SCROFA
Also called ‘chapon’ [in French], the red scorpionfish lives on rocky and coralligenous bottoms where it is perfectly camouflaged. Moving little, it catches small fish by lying in wait. It can also feed on molluscs and crustaceans.
