Pollack

This fish is recognizable by his very advanced lower jaw and the well-marked lateral line which adorns each of its sides. This line is present in all fish but is particularly visible in gadidae (pollock, cod, whiting…). It lives in groups in open water or above sandy bottoms and feeds on fish, crustaceans and caphalopods.
