Atlantic mackerel

The atlantic mackerel is a pelagic and gregarious fish : it forms schools of several hundred individuals. His body is slender and his back is blue-green streaked with dark lines while the belly and flanks are silvery white. It feeds on small pelagic fish (anchovies, sardines, sprats…)
