Shark tank is amasing

Our much planned holiday to the Atlantic Coast has been mainly about the rain, so today we decided to get the children involved in the choice of activity. We purchased our tickets at our holiday site for a small reduction. This meant we could then beat the queues at the entrance. Very busy attraction but enjoyed by all. The shark tank was fantastic, we sat and watched it for ages.
Definitely worth a visit.

Interesting, a little disappointing

The breeding tanks with the babies was wonderful and the starfish were amazing. It did lack tropical fish and I suppose we have been spoilt with the aquarium in La Rochelle which was outstanding.
We found it didn't have a lot of tanks..

Fantastic , interesting for all the family

I was very impressed with this aquarium. It had sea creatures from the local seas as well as Australian and tropical. The large tank with shark and rays was really good, you were able to watch them from above and below. The descriptive pieces were very clear and mostly in both French and english. It is annoying that it closes for two hours from 12 to 2 for lunch but then so do most French businesses. C'est la vie.! I did not think it was too expensive as there was lots to see.
The gift shop was open but not the cafe.

Wet day

Worth a visit, the education bit at the start was possibly the most interesting for us. The large display tanks were great with a variety of sharks and fish. We were there for about 2-3 hours.

Did this on a cloudy day. Very good facilities. The usual tanks to see the fish.

Stand out we’re the penguins. There was also a shark tank and ray tank.
There’s 2 viewing glass dimes but with an optical illusion I’ve never seen in other aquariums. These were exceptionally domed so as you reached out and leant into it it really felt like you were falling into the tanks! Freaked a few of us out!!

Great visit.

Been to loads of these type of attractions and this is right up at the top for me. The layout is great. The shark tank is huge. And a huge tank has huge fish...and in this case Bruce from Shark Tale lives there. He is huge...maybe 10ft long...rows of teeth hanging out his (or her) mouth. I was gob smacked when I came around the corner to see the shark tank. It is breathtaking as is the other large tank with the Ray's in.
This is a must for families and I take my hat off to the designer of this place. Well done.
Fantastic place to go with the kids. COYB

My mother was not keen on Aquarium but this one has reconciled her with them. It is a really beautiful environment. There is a lot of species, the most impressive ones for us was the pacific turtle, the sharks and the rays. Learn a lot on certain species and we were able to see "eggs" of sharks, rays and babies. Really good place.
Probably better to go early on the day and when there is not too much people because it could ruined the charm of this beautiful place.

Interesting and enjoyable aquarium - worth a visit

Very impressed by this aquarium. Varied selection of species in clean and interesting tanks, friendly staff and good facilities with a decent sized shop. The shark tank in particular was amazing, as well as the octopus tank, which our one year old daughter loved. Not a huge aquarium in comparison to some but great for a 1-2 hour visit and very suitable for children. Would highly recommend if in the area. No cafe but very close to Le Croisic centre and sea front.
